Trip to the Danube Delta

We’ll depart from the port of Tulcea (Tulco area) toward Channel 36, which is the entrance to the heart of the Danube Delta. We’ll then sail along the Old Sontea Canal (a canal with unique vegetation), the Candura Canal, Lake Baclanestii Mari, Fortuna Lake, Fortuna 1 Canal, the Sontea Lata stream, the Văcaru Canal, Vacaru Lake, and Ligheanca Lake, before finally arriving at the village of Mila 23, which is the heart of the Delta! In Mila 23, you have the option to enjoy a traditional fisherman’s lunch, consisting of sturgeon stew and fried fish served with polenta and garlic sauce, plus a glass of wine and still water (menu price: 80 lei)! You can also optionally visit the Ivan Patzaichin Museum in the village (during the museum’s opening hours)! Then, filled with memories, photos, and good cheer, we’ll return to the port of Tulcea.
