About This Tour

Embark on a captivating journey through the heart of Romanian history, exploring the architectural masterpieces left behind by the great rulers. The tour will first take you to the Drugănescu Manor, a true gateway to time immemorial, where the stories of ancient noble families have stood the test of time with dignity. From here, we’ll enter the refined world of the Brâncoveanu style, a perfect and innovative synthesis of local tradition with Eastern and Western influences. The Potlogi Palace, Constantin Brâncoveanu’s first major project, and the magnificent Mogoșoaia Palace will captivate you with the elegance of their inner courtyards, loggias, and artistic details that have withstood the test of time.

The day culminates with a visit to the Royal Court in Târgoviște, the former center of power and major decision-making in Wallachia. You’ll stroll among the historically significant ruins of the Royal Palace built by Mircea the Elder and admire the imposing Chindiei Tower, the iconic fortress constructed by Vlad the Impaler. The tour concludes with the majestic architecture of the Great Princely Church, offering you the perfect opportunity to escape the daily grind and rediscover, in a relaxing atmosphere, the beauty and deep roots of our cultural past.
