About This Tour

We invite you on a special spiritual journey to celebrate the great feast of Saint Nicholas. Our first stop will be at Suzana Monastery, an oasis of tranquility picturesquely situated in the Teleajen Valley. Here we will attend the patron saint’s day service, commemorating the monastery’s founder from 1740, and we will enjoy a warm meal, generously offered in the spirit of the holiday. The mountain scenery and the energy of the place will help you completely disconnect from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The pilgrimage continues with a visit to Zamfira Monastery, a place renowned not only for its strict monastic life but also for its priceless artistic value. Here you’ll have the opportunity to admire the interior paintings created by the famous Nicolae Grigorescu. It is a graceful stop where history blends perfectly with the beauty of authentic Romanian art.

The last stop of the day is at Ghighiu Monastery, situated on the site of the ancient Codri of Vlăsia. Known throughout the country for its miracle-working icon and the Healing Spring, this monastery will offer you a final moment of prayer and spiritual solace before returning home. It is a trip dedicated to inner peace, hope, and our ancestral traditions.
