About This Tour

St. Demetrius Day is a special occasion to take a break from the hustle and bustle of daily life and turn our attention to inner peace. This one-day pilgrimage offers you the chance to experience the excitement of a major Orthodox celebration right at the heart of Romanian spirituality, as you join in the service held at the imposing Cathedral of the Salvation of the Nation. It is an experience filled with grace, created especially for those seeking inner peace and blessings on a day of great significance.

In addition to the morning’s highlight, our journey continues at a leisurely pace toward two of the most famous and beloved places of worship near the capital. You’ll discover the architectural beauty and history of Pasărea Monastery, a place where nature and faith blend harmoniously, offering the perfect setting for meditation and prayer.

Our final stop will be at Cernica Monastery, a true corner of paradise nestled on the islands of the lake of the same name. Here you can stroll along the peaceful paths, breathe in the fresh autumn air, and recharge with the spiritual energy left as a legacy by the great spiritual leaders. It is a day dedicated to the soul, cherished memories, and faith shared together.
