About This Tour

We invite you to leave the fast pace of the city behind and spend a heartwarming day together, dedicated to reflection and discovering some blessed places. This pilgrimage to the heart of Prahova takes you through extraordinary natural landscapes, where the tranquility of the monasteries blends harmoniously with the history and traditions of the region. It’s the perfect opportunity to rediscover inner peace and the beauty of our spiritual heritage.

Our route begins at Ghighiu Monastery, a place renowned for its healing waters and the “Siriaca” icon of the Mother of God, and then continues with the wooden charm of Jercălăi Monastery and the centuries-old history of Vărbila Monastery. Each monastery has a unique story to tell and a special energy, offering pilgrims precious moments of reflection and spiritual solace.

The journey continues amid the picturesque vineyards of Dealu Mare to Ceptura Monastery, a true oasis of prayer rebuilt after the 1990s. The day ends with a stop at Parepa Monastery, a nunnery built as a tribute to the nation’s heroes, where the hospitality and peaceful atmosphere will fill you with positive energy before you head home.
