About This Tour

We invite you on an exciting one-day trip to the Făgăraș Region, a picturesque area nestled at the foot of the mountains, also known as the Transylvanian Alps. Our itinerary begins with a mysterious stop at the cave church in Șinca Veche. Also known as the Temple of Wishes, it is recognized as a special place where visitors say they find peace and inner balance.

The tour continues with the imposing Făgăraș Fortress, a former residence of governors and a historical monument of remarkable importance that has withstood attacks for over seven centuries. After soaking up some history, we’ll head to Cârțișoara Monastery, where you’ll admire an ancient monastery, built with great effort by nuns and the faithful.

The day will end perfectly at the Albota Trout Farm, a superb complex situated at the foot of the Carpathians, surrounded by the Arpășel Nature Reserve. Here, in a true oasis of well-being overlooked by the Vânătoarea lui Buteanu peak, you’ll be able to enjoy fresh fish dishes and traditional products made right on the guesthouse’s premises before heading back.
