Essential Information
Departure is at 6:00 a.m. from Bucharest (Victoriei Square, large parking lot area), with an estimated return in the evening (depending on traffic, the route, and the duration of the hike). The estimated duration of the mountain hike is 6–8 hours. Participation requires a valid ID. Seats on the bus are assigned starting with the second row, strictly in the order in which the deposit was paid. Minors aged 0–18 must carry an ID proving their age. Although the trip takes place in the fall, during the warm season, we recommend wearing athletic clothing suitable for high temperatures and staying hydrated, which is essential for your well-being. Good physical condition is required for this hike; the activity is not recommended for those with medical conditions. Please note that our platform emphasizes simplicity, clear logistics, and a predictable experience for all travelers.
Recommendations and Warnings
- Required gear: Hiking boots (no other footwear is permitted), hiking pants, a T-shirt, a fleece or hoodie, a change of clothes, and a backpack. The guide will deny access without this gear.
- Physical Fitness: The trail is 16 km long with an elevation gain of 400 m, requiring sustained effort.
- Food: Since lunch will be served along the route, you must bring water and snacks (sandwiches, fruit, sweets).
