About This Tour
Leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind and set out on a fascinating journey that will take you straight to the heart of Romanian history. This day trip is an invitation to explore, a relaxing stroll among walls steeped in legend and architecture of timeless beauty. We’ll open the gateway to the past at the Drugănescu Manor, a place where the nobility of days gone by is felt in every detail, offering an intimate glimpse into aristocratic life and the preservation of our cultural heritage.
The fascination continues as we follow in the footsteps of Prince Constantin Brâncoveanu. You’ll admire the Potlogi Palace, his first major architectural achievement and an absolute symbol of the Brâncoveanu style, followed by the elegant Mogoșoaia Palace, an architectural masterpiece idyllically situated on the waterfront. Here, history blends perfectly with artistic innovation, creating a striking visual setting where Eastern and Western details intertwine.
The final part of the day takes us to the former capital of Wallachia. At the Royal Court Complex in Târgoviște, you’ll feel the pulse of the historic decisions that shaped the nation. You’ll be able to explore the ruins of the Royal Palace, the Great Royal Church, and, above all, admire the famous Chindiei Tower. Every moment of this tour is designed to offer you not only valuable information but also an authentic experience, reconnecting you with Romania’s historical heritage.
