Once a volcanic crater, it is now home to a spectacular peat bog, where moss, dwarf pines, and pools of water hidden beneath the vegetation offer a unique view. Essential Information
Departure is at 5:00 a.m. from the Orizont Bus Station in Călărași, with passengers also being picked up along the route based on requests; the estimated return time is in the evening (depending on traffic and the route). The estimated duration is one day. Participation requires a valid ID. Seats on the bus are assigned starting with the second row, strictly in the order in which the deposit was paid. The difficulty level is easy; the excursion involves walking, so comfortable shoes with non-slip soles are required. We recommend clothing suitable for fall weather, as well as a bottle of water to stay hydrated. Minors under 18 must carry a form of identification proving their age. Times are approximate, and the schedule is subject to minor changes; the bus cannot wait for individuals who are late.
