About This Tour

Leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind and immerse yourself in the charm of Romanian traditions in the heart of Țara Bârsei. The “Răvășitul Oilor” festival is an iconic fall event that brings together the beauty of pastoral customs, good cheer, and local hospitality. You’ll be greeted by a vibrant atmosphere where song and dance intertwine with the unmistakable aromas of traditional dishes. As an experience offered by Tripigo, a modern Romanian tourism platform that sells day trips, this tour is designed to provide you with relaxation and a seamless, predictable experience. All you have to do is enjoy the moment.

Get ready for a complete sensory experience. In addition to savoring local dishes such as golden-brown bulz and fresh pastrami, you’ll be able to discover the creations of folk artisans who bring traditional costumes and art to life. With a few hours to explore the area at your own pace, you can also choose to visit the imposing Bran Castle, located right across from the festival grounds. It’s the perfect opportunity for a weekend day filled with flavor, history, and authentic memories.
