About This Tour

Enjoy a refreshing getaway in the Prahova Valley, leaving the city’s daily grind behind to discover a journey rich in history, spirituality, and nature. Our first stop takes us to the Posada Hunting Museum, housed in a castle with a fascinating history. Originally built as a traditional river-stone manor by the Bibescu family and a witness to tumultuous historical events during the world wars, the place will captivate you with its aristocratic atmosphere. The journey continues to the Sinaia Monastery, where you can admire the old church dedicated to the Dormition of the Mother of God, a true symbol of Brâncoveanu-style architecture in Wallachia.

The road will then take us into the heart of the mountains, to Bușteni. Here we’ll visit the Cezar Petrescu Memorial Museum, a traditional house that has preserved its rustic charm intact, featuring antique furniture, Romanian pottery, and the impressive library where the great novelist crafted his masterpieces for decades. The day ends on a note of peace and harmony at Caraiman Monastery, an impressive place of worship situated at high altitude, founded following a revelatory dream. Nestled in an idyllic clearing at the foot of the Bucegi Mountains, the monastery offers the perfect opportunity to reconnect with nature and recharge with positive energy before heading home.
