The day begins with a dose of history and spirituality as we visit the Madona Dudu Church, an impressive stone structure first documented in 1758. Immediately afterward, we’ll explore the Oltenia Museum, an institution founded in 1915 out of a passion for culture shared by the local community and Ștefan Ciuceanu. These visits will offer you a fascinating perspective on Oltenia’s heritage, preparing you for the city’s festive bustle.
In the afternoon, you’ll have free time to stroll through the city center and admire iconic landmarks such as Prefecture Park, the Administrative Palace, the Art Museum, and the National Theater. As evening falls, the market comes to life, and you’ll have the chance to warm up with a seasonal treat and choose unique gifts from artisans who’ve come from all corners of the country. We’ll make sure to stay until 5:30 p.m. to fully enjoy the magic of the Christmas lights before heading home.

Essential Information
Departure is at 9:00 a.m. from University Square, Bucharest, with an estimated return time of around 9:30 p.m. (depending on traffic and route). The estimated duration is approximately 12 hours. Participation requires a valid ID. Seats on the bus are assigned starting with the second row, strictly in the order in which the deposit was paid. Minors aged 0–18 must carry an ID proving their age. Since this tour takes place during the cold season in November and December, we strongly recommend wearing warm clothing and comfortable shoes suitable for low temperatures and walking tours at the attractions. The tour is organized for a minimum group of 30 people. Please be punctual; for logistical reasons, the bus cannot wait for individual latecomers.
