About This Tour

Enjoy a day full of contrasts and discover a spectacular land where the forces of nature have sculpted landscapes unique to Romania. The tour first takes you to Racoș Volcano, an exceptional geological area where you can stroll among craters and solidified lava formations. Here you’ll admire the spectacular Basalt Columns, imposing formations over a million years old, located in a protected nature reserve, which are said to radiate a revitalizing positive energy.

The natural adventure reaches its climax on the shores of Emerald Lake. Hidden right inside a former volcanic crater, this lake will instantly captivate you with the intense green hue of its water, creating a stunning visual contrast with the lush surrounding vegetation. It’s the perfect place to unwind and capture memorable photos in a fairytale setting.

Toward the end of the day, we’ll swap the wild scenery for the vibrant atmosphere of Brașov. You’ll have free time in the Old Town to stroll through the cobblestone streets, enjoy a coffee in Piața Sfatului, or admire iconic historic buildings such as the Black Church. This excursion perfectly combines the raw charm of nature with urban relaxation in one of the country’s most beautiful medieval towns.
