The route continues to Ghighiu Monastery, a monastery renowned for its distinctive architecture and peaceful atmosphere. Throughout the day, you’ll have free time to enjoy an optional lunch and relax before the return trip.

Essential Information

Departure is at 6:00 a.m. from the Constanța CFR Train Station (“La Steaguri”), with an estimated return time around 9:00 p.m. (depending on traffic and route). The estimated duration is 15 hours. Participation requires a valid ID. Seats on the bus are assigned starting with the second row, strictly in the order in which the deposit was paid. During the hot season, we recommend wearing athletic clothing suitable for high temperatures, and don’t forget to stay hydrated, which is essential for your well-being.

Useful Information:

  • The temperature inside the salt mine is constant (approx. 12°C year-round), so a jacket or warmer clothing is required.
  • Modest attire is required when visiting the monastery.
  • The tour involves short walks, so comfortable shoes are recommended.
