About This Tour

Founded in 1860 on the initiative of Dr. Carol Davila and later developed by Professor Dimitrie Brândză, the Bucharest Botanical Garden is a perfect green oasis in the heart of the bustling city. Spanning an impressive area of over 18 hectares, visitors are invited to lose themselves along the shaded paths and explore spectacular outdoor sections, such as the Decorative Section, the Asian Flora, or the picturesque Grandmother’s Garden—a highly acclaimed project that revives the Romanian tradition of landscape design. Every step takes you past thousands of plant species, offering a relaxing experience full of color and vitality.

Beyond the lush outdoor spaces, your ticket opens the doors to indoor attractions brimming with knowledge. The Botanical Museum awaits you with an impressive collection of valuable exhibits, botanical paintings, and dioramas that illustrate the diversity of nature, while the Greenhouses are a captivating attraction for lovers of biodiversity. This visit is an excellent opportunity to disconnect from the stresses of everyday life while discovering the importance of protecting the environment.
