About This Tour

Treat yourself to a day of relaxation and discover one of Romania’s most famous spa resorts.

Located on the shores of the lake of the same name, Techirghiol is known worldwide for its sapropelic mud and saltwater, prized for their therapeutic properties and used for over a century in spa treatments.

On this trip, you’ll have time to enjoy the resort’s peaceful atmosphere, relax by the lake, experience the natural mud, or take a stroll through town, discovering the charm of a destination where nature and wellness go hand in hand.

The history of the place is just as fascinating as its benefits. The legend of Techir and the Donkey has transformed Techirghiol into a symbol of healing, and the statue group dedicated to this legend is today one of the resort’s most famous landmarks.
