1-Day Trip to the Lada Parish and St. Pantelimon Monastery in Bucharest
About This Tour
Embark on a spiritual journey, leaving behind the hustle and bustle of the city for a day dedicated to peace, faith, and gratitude. This pilgrimage takes you to St. Pantelimon Monastery in Siliștea Gumești, a place steeped in grace, where you’ll have the opportunity to participate in the Divine Liturgy and enjoy the profound peace of the monastic community.
Beyond prayer, this experience is a call to good deeds. At the Lada Parish, you’ll learn the inspiring story of Father Florin Danu and the more than 60 children and elderly people he cares for. It’s a unique opportunity to contribute directly—if you feel called to do so—with a small donation, ranging from toys and school supplies to non-perishable food items. Every gesture changes a life and brings a sincere smile to the faces of those who have endured great hardship.
The journey ends with a stop at Cernetu Monastery, a spiritual refuge under the protection of Saint Trifon the Martyr—the patron saint of those who till the land—and the Mother of God. Here, history intertwines with tradition, and the Healing Spring will offer you a final moment of contemplation before heading home.
